Abstract

Application of the Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) chromatography technology in fructose separation from high fructose corn syrup was reviewed in this paper. It was systematically introduced in terms of working principle, stationary phase, valve system, automation control, mathematical modeling and process optimization, providing recommendations for domestic crystalline fructose and high purity fructose syrup industry development.
